a snowy winter
Do you love winters in the snow? Weather permitting, come and enjoy some unforgettable moments with your family or friends to discover the beauty of the snow-covered landscapes of the Wangenbourg-Engenthal resort. Winter activities include snowshoe outings, toboggan runs and Christmas treasure hunts. And of course, there's no limit to the snowman and igloo-making activities!
Snowshoe outing
The Mossig et Vignoble tourist office offers 3 circuits in the Schneeberg massif.
- Departure from Col des Pandours, with a 10 km circuit
Departure from Windsbourg, with an 11 km circuit
Departure from the Col du Valsberg, with a 12 km circuit
Two of these routes take you to the highest point in the Mossig et Vignoble region. The Schneeberg, at an altitude of 961 m, offers superb views over northern Alsace and the Savern plateau. The last circuit is longer, but you can go over the Col de la Schleif to the Col de la Wetzlach. These tours are open to all nature lovers. Animals are also welcome on this tour.
If you're a snowshoe fan, you can bring your own equipment and do the tours on your own, or hire it from our partners Trace Verte and Vélo Passion. They each offer different packages (including a guide for beginners, snowshoe hire for adults and children, walking poles, etc.). Prices can be viewed on their respective websites.
